The popular South Korean web novel, Solo Leveling entertained the audience with its exciting plot, amazing graphics, and interesting characters. Upon release, this super thrilling anime made the server crash of Crunchyroll. Now, this anime is returning with the second season to do it again soon. 

Since the end of the first part which concluded on a thrilling note, fans are super excited for Season 2 of Solo Leveling. Solo Leveling Season 2 Release Date 

The makers haven’t confirmed the Solo Leveling Part 2 release date. But according to the latest information, new visuals and teasers are out and the 2nd season of Solo Leveling will be coming in January 2025. 

On 30 March 2024, just after the ending of Episode 12 of Solo Levelling, Crunchyroll announced Season 2 with the title “Solo Leveling Season 2— Arise from the Shadow.” Additionally, it confirmed that the new season would be released on the same platform.  

In an interview with the Korea Economic Daily, the CEO of D&C Media, Choi Won-young revealed that season 2 will hit the screen in the fourth quarter of 2024. His statement reads, “Season 2 is also scheduled to air within the year.”

However, according to anime leaker Chromafire, part 2 of Solo Leveling will be released in 2025. “The story truly starts MOVING after the first Arise! Bummer we’ll have to wait until 2025 for cour 2,” it stated. 

Well, it is not clear whether they’re talking about the second half of the first season or the season 2.

Solo Leveling Season 2 Plot (Expected)

The series opens with the introduction of a notoriously weak hunter named Sung Jinwoo whose life completely changes when he is chosen by a mysterious program called the System. It offers him unique powers and levels up his strength. These abilities not only make him physically strong but also change his appearance. 

He gains experience with each fight and becomes stronger. In Episode 12, he transforms into a Shadow Monarch and finds him the only monarch who can save humanity from wiping out. 

Solo Leveling Anime Part 2 will take the protagonist into a new S-Rank dungeon called the Demon Castle, created by the System. Additionally, he will strengthen his power in exchange for his most precious thing. Some new faces will return to season 2 and become hurdles in his mission. 

In a nutshell, the Demon Castle Arc will dominate Season 2 of Solo Leveling. Combining all the clues, we get the idea that there is also a possibility of a third season to fully represent the story of Jinwoo. 

Solo Leveling Season 2 Cast 

Reportedly, the characters who played the lead in Season 1 will reprise their roles in Season 2. The protagonist, Jinwoo Sung will be voice-over by Taito Ban in Japanese and Aleks Le in English. His younger sister Jinah Sung, best friend, Jinho Yoo, and the dangerous S-rank hunter, Yoonho Baek will also appear in Solo Levelling season 2.

Solo Leveling aired from January 2024 to March 2024 on the popular anime platform, Crunchyroll. Season 2 of Solo Leveling will also be available to stream on Crunchyroll at the end of 2024.

How Many Episodes Are There in Solo Leveling Season 2

Directed by Shunsuke Nakashige and produced by A-1 Pictures, Solo Leveling 1 consisted of 12 episodes. The first episode premiered on 7 January 2024 with the title ‘I’m Used to It’. Solo Leveling further episode release dates were scheduled with a gap of a week. Every week a new episode hits the screen and entertains the readers. 

Reportedly, season 2 will also follow the same pattern and an additional 13 episodes will take the narrative ahead.

When season 1 was concluded, the makers released the Solo Leveling season 2 teaser. Along with the picture of the character Igris who stepped into the series in Episode 11, the trailer was made public at the end of March 2024.
