Rapper Rick Ross Attacked At Ignite Music Festival After His Performance at Vancouver

On Sunday night (30 June), the largest Canada Day Festival, Ignite Music Festival was organized at the Plaza of Nations in downtown Vancouver, featuring Rick Ross, Sickick, and Merkules. The event began at 4.00 p.m and concluded with the performance of headliner Rick at 10.30 p.m. 

After the performance, something unexpected happened. The well-known rapper Rick was attacked by some strangers from the crowd. During the heated argument, one also tried to punch him. The organizers confirmed the news after the fighting video started making rounds on social media. 

When the CFO of event organizer Canadian Events Agency, Lindsay Sparrow was questioned about the feud, she replied that she was backstage at that time. She called the fight a “short altercation” that security guards resolved within a short span. 

Sparrow told CBC News, “Security did a great job and … everyone exited safely, which is always our primary concern for everyone attending the festivals.”

Rick Ross Viral Fighting Video from Vancouver Concert 

The video of the ‘Hustlin’ rapper from his Vancouver concert is going viral on social media. It shows when the singer departs from the stage after his performance, some goons quarrel with him. Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss ‘Not Like Us’ plays in the background. 

Without wasting much time, the rapper 50 Cent also shared this viral video on his Instagram account to make fun of his rival. In the caption, he wrote, “LMAO THE GREAT ESCAPE! MEEKA CALL THE CHASERS, THEY ARE CHASING ME. LOL.” 

Rick Ross Didn’t Address the Vancouver Feud

On Monday morning (July 1), William Leonard Roberts II alias Rick Ross dropped some photos and videos on his Instagram stories. Sharing a picture in a black outfit and standing ahead of his private plane, he wrote, “Vancouver, it was fun. Until next time.”
