Based on Eiichiro Oda’s manga series of the same name, One Piece debuted on Netflix in August 2023. Now, the popular pirate adventure TV series is returning for the second season. The production of One Piece live action season 2 has started in South Africa and reportedly, it will hit the screen in 2025. 

Announcing the beginning of production, Netflix dropped a picture on the ‘X’ (formerly called Twitter) account and wrote, “The dreams on these pages are about to become a reality. 🏴‍☠️⛵ We’re gearing up for a grand adventure, Straw Hats! #OnePieceLiveAction”

Who is Returning to One Piece Live Action Season 2?

The original Straw Hat crew members will reprise their roles in One Piece season 2. In the series, Morgan Davies will appear as Koby, Aidan Scott as Helmeppo, Vincent Regan as Vice Admiral Garp, Langley Kirkwood as Captain ‘Axe Hand’ Morgan, Craig Fairbrass as Zeff, Peter Gadiot as Shanks, Alexander Maniatis as Klahadore, McKinley Belcher III as Arlong, and Steven Ward as Dracule Mihawk. 

In addition to them, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, Jeff Ward, and Michael Dorman will also make their comeback to season 2 as Alvida, Buggy the Clown, and Gold Roger respectively. 

Furthermore, some new artists will join them including Daniel Lasker as Mr. 9, Camrus Johnson as Mr. 5, Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine, David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3, Rob Colletti as Wapol, Rob Colletti as Wapol, Werner Coetser as Dorry, Brendan Murray as Brogy, Callum Kerr as Smoker, Clive Russell as Crocus, Julia Rehwald as Tashigi, and Ty Keogh as Dalton.
