Daiichi Kosho, the Japanese Karaoke company carried out a ranking survey of songs performed through its karaoke on-demand service, DAM (Daiichikosho AMusement Multimedia) and revealed the annual ranking across 14 genres recently.
‘Bling-Bang-Bang-Born’ by Creepy Nuts took the top spot in the ranking of theme songs for TV anime and anime films that were aired or released this year. The song served as the opening theme for the TV anime MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES The Divine Visionary Candidate Arc.
Additionally, it also ranks number one in the list of songs released this year and number two in the overall song rankings closely following Vaundy’s ‘Kaiju no Hanauta’ which was released in the year 2020.
The band Creepy Nuts expressed their happiness and they were also thankful that so many people enjoyed their song ‘Bling-Bang-Bang-Born’. They further added that they will keep working hard so that everybody could have a great time and they hope that people will sing the song more often at karaoke.
The Japanese hip-hop duo R-Shitei and Matsunaga made Creepy Nuts and made their debut in 2017. Their fan community is known as ‘Club Creepy Nuts’ and their superhit song ‘Bling-Bang-Bang-Born’ was launched on January 7 this year as the opening theme for the second season of MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES anime series.
‘Bling-Bang-Bang-Born’ dominated the Billboard Japan Hot 100 for eight consecutive weeks and it marked the first song of the duo on the chart as lead artists. Furthermore, it was also an international success for them reaching the eighth position on the Billboard Global 200.
