Sunday, August 25, 2024, marked an unexpected yet thrilling moment for all anime enthusiasts! It’s revealed that a new compilation movie of Hidden Inventory / Premature Death arc, based on the two seasons of Jujutsu Kaisen is in the making by MAPPA Animation Studio, and will hit theaters in 2025.

The official reveal was announced at an event held at Pia Arena MM, Japan, which made fans excited to see their favorite show converted into a movie. However, people on X (formerly known as Twitter) have mixed feelings about the announcement. 

One person commented, saying, “Wtf do we need to see the same anime episodes just edited differently, 2025 should be season 3…”, while another user commented, “Bruh just give me a new season, I ain’t trying to do all this”. Someone else said, “They trying to make their profits back from chainsaw man I guess” clearly showing not everyone is thrilled about the news.
