Johnny Depp Recalls the Role Of Tim Burton’s Edward Scissorhands he got over the Maverick, Tom Cruise

In a recent interview, Johnny Depp recalls his lead role in the Edward Scissorhands journey. He stated that he was lucky enough to get this role over the legendary actors of Hollywood, The Maverick, Tom Cruise, and Tom Hanks. Well known actor and rose to immense fame from The Pirates of the Caribbean. He was considered one of the biggest influential actors in the late 1990s and 2000s. 

Starred in many series and films by Tim Burton, the actor revealed in a recent interview that they are collaborating on another project. In a conversation with the interviewer, he stated getting overwhelmed when got the role of Edward over the A-listers start studded actors, and has proven to be the best breakthrough of his career. 

In his conversation, he also mentioned the struggle he has gone through to seize the role of starring opposite the iconic actor Winona Ryder after being pigeonholed by the role he played in the late 1980s.

Depp has worked in the leading Tim Burton masterpieces, Ed Wood (1994), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007), and plenty more. According to the sources, Depp has been about to play Satan opposite Jeff Bridge’s, God, in the new Terry Gilliam Movie. 
The Tim Burton docuseries has been premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival on June 10, 2024.
