Chapter 263 picks up right after the end of Chapter 262 and shows the end of the barrier clash between Sukuna and Yuta (In Gojo’s Body). After getting hit by a Hollow Purple, Sukuna is visibly injured. It is revealed that although Yuta was successful in hitting Gojo Satorou’s strongest move, his inexperience with the technique reduced the force of the attack and also destroyed his barrier.
Todo and Yuji join Yuta and prepare to attack Sukuna, however, Yuta suddenly collapses due to the burn of his technique after using a Domain Expansion. As Todo gets distracted after seeing Yuta collapse on the battleground, Sukuna manages to hit a Black Flash on him and breaks off his Vibraslap.
In a last bid for strength, Todo activates his cursed tool before it is destroyed and starts Teleporting Yuji around Sukuna. With Yuji continuously attacking Sukuna with soul punches and Dismantle, Sukuna realizes Yuji has created a Binding Vow to target the boundary between him and Megumi’s body.
Highly affected by the attack, Sukuna vomits a few of his fingers out of his body and then puts them back in. Sukuna then begins to dodge Yuji’s attacks and concludes that he will only be in danger if Yuji is successful in hitting him.
In a flashback, it is revealed that Yuta asked for Hana’s help in defeating Sukuna. Yuta proclaims Hana only needs to fire Jacobs Ladder to Sukuna and end him. Yuta believed that the true strength of his technique was to decrease the awareness of the enemy.
Coming to the present, Todo teleports Hana just above Sukuna. The next scene showcases Hana activating Jacobs Ladder at maximum cursed energy and blasting Sukuna.
