It’s been around 3 months since the famous manhwa Jinx has gone on a hiatus. Up until now, the author hasn’t provided much information regarding the exact release date of Jinx manga season 2.
The series went on a pause with Chapter 53 (posted in April 2024) being the last of season 1, which concluded Dan leaving the apartment for good. However, 2 special episodes were also released in this period, dating May 3 and July 22.
Will There Be a Jinx Season 2?
Jinx’s author, Mingwa, has indeed confirmed the Jinx manga season 2 release date, which may drop sometime this year(2024), in his creator’s note. Besides the notice, they added a quick representation of Jinx’s timeline, that hints towards extra chapters at the end of season 2.
The note stated season 2 will focus on building emotions rather than the overall plot, thus, it may be longer than Jinx season 1. Furthermore, the way Mingwa delights in a slow burn of the toxic top, adds to the reason for this blow-up.
To further rationalize their plan, the author also quoted, “The slower the burn, the sweeter the redemption.” This indicates how Jaekhyung may be going to ever so slowly penalize his mistake and reflect on his poor treatment of Doc Dan.
