Fantastic news for fans of the Dragon Ball saga. On Wednesday, September 2024, the official website of Dragon Ball unveiled the new main trailer of the upcoming TV Anime Dragon Ball Daima. They also shared an updated key visual for the anime series. According to Crunchyroll, the most famous anime is scheduled to be premiered in Japan on 11 October, Friday at 11:40 pm.

The website also gave away a second main visual, and information on the voice cast and opening theme song artists. While Goku (mini), Supreme Kai (mini), and Glorio remained the same, additionally the identity of the masked Majin was finally revealed. The real name of the character is Panzy. Two new characters were also made public, one of them is Gomah, and the other is yet to be revealed.

The principal trailer showcases the opening song “Jaka Jaan” by Zedd (Grammy Award-winning DJ/producer) feat C&K. 

The lyrics were written by Yukinojo Mori, who has created many famous Dragon Ball songs, including “CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA” (Dragon Ball Z opening song) and “Genkai Toopa X Survivor” (Dragon Ball Super opening song). 

Furthermore, the singer-songwriter duo C&K also took part in the creation and performance of the song in response to Zedd’s request.

The main trailer also announced three additional voice cast members for three new characters:

Supreme Kai (Mini) voiced by Yumiko Kobayashi (Shinnosuke Nohara in Crayon Shin-chan)

Glorio voiced by Koki Uchiyama (Banagher Links in MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM UNICORN)

Panzy voiced by Fairouz Ai (Manatsu Natsuumi/Cure Summer in Tropical-Rouge! Precure)

These three voice actors will be making an appearance at a stage event at the “Dragon Ball Daimatsuri” at the Tokyo Big Sight on Sunday, October 2024.
