Great news for Dragon Ball anime fans, Fuji TV has officially announced the Dragon Ball Daima episodes launching nationwide.
According to Matan Web reports, the new release of the Dragon Ball Daima animated series will be aired on 11 October, Friday at 11:40 pm. On 2 September, the announcement program was held at Fuji Television Headquarters, Tokyo.
The Program Director, Nakajima Yuichi announced, “All episodes of Dragon Ball Daima are done.” Regarding the broadcast time slot, he explained, “Since it’s a new work, we want it to be watched by a nationwide network. Until now, it was also broadcast on Sunday mornings, but Sunday mornings are not a nationwide network. We are also aiming for a time slot that Dragon Ball fans and the target audience can easily watch.” He expressed his expectations for this work and said, “I hope we can spread the image that ‘After all, it’s Fuji TV for anime.”
On the memorialise of the 40th anniversary of the Dragon Ball anime series, Nakajima declared that the first episode of Dragon Ball: Daima will extended to 10 minutes on Fuji TV.
Moreover, the world premiere of Dragon Ball: Daima event takes place at Tokyo Big Sight on October 6. The anime’s first episode will be streaming on three screening timings, 10 am, 2:15 pm, and 6 pm.
Yoshitaka Yashima and Ayan Komaki are the directors of Dragon Ball Daima. The anime series was scripted by Yuko Kakihara and the characters were designed by Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru. Therefore, the first episode of Dragon Ball: Daima is based on the original manga by the late Akira Toriyama.
