What Would Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Movie About?

Infinity Castle Arc

The upcoming Demon Slayer movie will adapt the Infinity Castle arc from the manga. Tanjiro is destined to face Muzan and end his reign of terror on humanity. Though this will be a treat to watch, fans would have to wait as the story arc will be adapted into a trilogy, meaning Ufotable is currently working on three movies at the moment.

Before Tanjiro faces Muzan, we will get to see many more fights between the Hashiras and the Upper Moons.

The end of season 4 gave us a glimpse of what is soon to happen in the franchise. As Muzan was ambushed by the Hashiras in Ubayashiki’s Villa, he used his blood magic to trap all members of the Demon Slayer Corps in the Infinity Castle. This gave us an amazing visual where we saw all of our beloved characters finally being close to their goal, kill Muzan.

Knowing this, we can say that the upcoming movie will break the box office record of the Demon Slayer: Mugen Train movie.

How Many Manga Chapters Would the Movie Cover?

The Kimetsu no Yaiba manga consists of 205 chapters, with the first four seasons covering only 139 chapters, the trilogy will adapt the remaining 66 chapters.

With 66 chapters left, the trilogy will divide these chapters evenly and each movie will adapt 22 chapters. Though it is still unconfirmed how many chapters the next film will cover, we do know that it will feature Tanjiro, Giyuu vs. Akaza, the upper rank 3.

We can also expect the fight between the upper rank 2, Doma in action against the Demon Slayers Corps.

Would There Be a Season 5 of Demon Slayer?

Demon Slayer Season 5

No, Demon Slayer anime will not be returning in the form of a 5th season, instead, Crunchyroll and Ufotable will release it in theaters. This is likely because Demon Slayer: Mugen Train move crossed $500 million worldwide.

Demon Slayer Anime has often released its season premiere in theaters and proceeded to release the rest of the season in episode format, this makes fans speculate that they will get to see season 5, sadly this won’t be the case.

Seeing how Crunchyroll is handling the future of the series, it is highly unlikely that it will release Demon Slayer as a 5th season.

Wrapping Up

This brings us to an end, as of now there is no exact Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Arc release date, but the movie is set to release in 2025. With Ufotable working on three movies back to back, it will take some time for all three movies to be out, but we can expect each movie to release with a year gap in them.

Starting in 2019, the Demon Slayer anime has released some for each year, 2024 being the year for the release of 4th season, we can expect the movies to come out in 2025, 2026, and 2027.

All we can do right now is wait for any announcements of the Demon Slayer Trilogy release date.
