Dan Da Dan Anime - Revealed 3 New Teasers and 5 Cast Members

The upcoming anime adaptation of Yukinobu Tatsu’s ‘DAN DA DAN’, the super hit manga, was formally announced on their official X account, with a new addition in cast members and a revamped visual. On Tuesday, the official w e bsite released a trio of teasers for eager fans.

The teaser shows Okarun fighting the Flatwoods Monster:

The Love teaser revolves around the characters Momo and Okarun:

The Occult teaser puts aliens and Yokai in the spotlight:

The series will premiere in Japan on 3rd October 2024 on TBS and MBS’s Super Animeism TURBO programming channel. Later, Netflix and Crunchyroll will stream the anime effectively from 4th October 2024 at 1:00 a.m. JST.

Flatwoods Monster is played by Ryuzaburo Otomo

Acrobatic Silky is played by Kikuko Inoue

Dover Demon is played by Tomokazu Seki

Taro is played by Tomokazu Sugita

Hana is played by Fumi Hirano

The direction will be done by Fuga Yamashiro at the anime studio Science SARU with scriptwriter Hiroshi Seko. Character design will be created by Naoyuki Onda and kensuke ushio on music.

“This is a story about Momo, a high school girl who comes from a family of spirit mediums, and her classmate Okarun, an occult fanatic. After Momo rescues Okarun from being bullied, they begin talking. However, an argument ensues between them since Momo believes in ghosts but denies aliens exist, and Okarun believes in aliens but denies ghosts exist.

To prove to each other what they believe in is real, Momo goes to an abandoned hospital where a UFO has been spotted and Okarun goes to a tunnel rumored to be haunted. To their surprise, they each encounter overwhelming paranormal activities that transcend comprehension. Amid these predicaments, Momo awakens her hidden power and Okarun gains the power of a curse to overcome these new dangers! Their fateful love begins as well!?”
