The official announcement of the anime adaption of the beloved web novel and manhwa by TurtleMe, ‘The Beginning After the End’ has been made. Well known for his work ‘Digimon Adventure tri’ and ‘Date A Live’, Keitaro Motonaga will helm the project at studio A-CAT.
Soon after the official trailer of the anime, ‘The Beginning After the End’ came out, the announcement was made that the series is going to stream for fans in April 2025 on Crunchyroll.
The adaptation dives deep into the world of ‘The Beginning After the End’, where the story will introduce the viewers to the cold-hearted King Grey, who after his untimely death reincarnated as Arthur Leyin in a magical realm.
Retaining the wisdom of his former life, Arthur’s journey to correct the mistakes of the past he committed in the enchanting land of Dicathen begins. As per the official synopsis, Arthur in his second life starts to master the skills of magic and begins moulding his path looking forward to opportunities to rectify the errors of his past life.
The direction of the anime adaptation is in the hands of Keitaro Motonaga and TurtleMe together with Mik Zhu, Gabriel le Luu and Kevin Nicklaus will be serving as the story supervisor and executive producers. Music composition will be done by Keiji Inai whereas Masami Sueoko will take care of character design.
Along with the stunning trailer, the lead cast for ‘The Beginning After the End’ has also been revealed. The voice for the reborn Arthur Leywin will be Natsumi Fujiwara and Makoto Furukawa will be portraying King Grey.No official date for release has been announced, nor the number of episodes are known. The series will begin to stream on Crunchyroll as soon as it is released in Japan.
