The most-awaited trailer of the upcoming animated superhero film, ‘Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League’ has been released. A few hours ago, the makers released the trailer on Warner Bros. Japan’s official ‘X’ (formerly called Twitter) account.
‘Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League’ marks the sequel of the Japanese animated film ‘Batman Ninja’ released in 2018. Made under the direction of Junpei Mizusaki and produced under the banner of Warner Bros. Japan
DC Entertainment, the film received an overwhelming response from the fans. Now, the same makers have come back with an installment.
Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League First Look
Apart from the trailer, the first poster of ‘Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League’ is also making rounds on social media. The first poster reveals that this time Batman will team up with his former allies including Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, and Aquaman. The reason behind this collaboration is not yet clear but it is confirmed that fans will surely love the film.
In the poster, Batman takes the center place and appears in his iconic ensemble. Wonder Woman flaunts her eagle tattoo while The Flash appears in a traditional Japanese straw hat. Green Lantern dons a kimono garment while Aquaman emerges in a fisherman’s headband.
Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League Release Date
It’s been six years since the release of Batman Ninja. In May 2024, the makers announced its sequel with the title ‘Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League’ but they didn’t confirm the release date. It seems like they have decided to make the release date public just a few days before the release of the film.
The makers are tight-lipped on the release date but they’ve confirmed that the lead actor Koichi Yamadera will reprise his role as Batman in the sequel. Additionally, the production members such as Kamikaze Douga and the animator behind the CG anime are also returning.
