Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK 2024 movie will merge both parts of Attack on Titan Final Season, THE FINAL CHAPTERS, for a runtime of 145 minutes.

The compilation movie director Yuichiro Hayashi who also directed the series, shares his thoughts in a recent comment: “THE LAST ATTACK” that “I originally drew the storyboards [for THE FINAL CHAPTERS] with the idea that it would be watched as a single movie. So, having the opportunity to have everyone watch it in the best possible environment, the theater, is a dream come true for me.” He also pointed that the visuals have been re-created from the original versions for the theatrical release.

The theme song for THE LAST ATTACK will be Linked Horizon’s “To You 2,000… or… 20,000 Years From Now…” which of course references the story itself. A 5.1 surround soundscape experience has been upgraded for the audio.

The final chapters will not only serve as a fitting end to the anime but also as a tribute to the story’s lasting impact on fans across the globe. The film is scheduled for limited theatrical release this fall, followed by a streaming debut.

Both parts of Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS are available to watch on Crunchyroll alongside the rest of the anime franchise.
